Yeah, im really impressed with the taranis, happy as could be, i smile every time i switch it on. Snap! i just got my taranis yesterday after getting sick, tired, pissed off and seriously frustrated with my Spektrum DX6 and horizon hobbies, whom sell dangerous products and lie to their customers, screw Spektrum! #LIFTOFF SIMULATOR TARANIS HOW TO#
It would be cool if you provided ones for 2.0 fw for the not so confident :) I just got my Taranis and i plan on trying it first here however i am all confused on how to make a model from scratch. Originally posted by spawny:Well i am still using 2.0 fw and i have doubts about updating firmwares to the latest. I can't guarantee success, but at least I know it worked for me, so why not share it if it can help others :) Just check the sliders to make sure you have full range on all sticks. I didn't have to do any calibration after this, but I can't say that it will be the same for everyone.
Launch Liftoff, go to the controls menu, and chose the Taranis preset. When that is done, all you have to do (if everything is working as it should) is turn on your Taranis and select the model called "Sim Windows" or "Sim Mac".Īfter you you have selected the model, plug in the usb in the back and watch the little usb icon come up in the display on the Taranis. The model setup on the tx is a little different for mac and windows, both models are included in this eepe file [Use the latest version of companion to transfer the model you need to your Taranis. I noticed a few of you were having problems getting the Taranis to work, and thought I'd go through the process of how I got it working.įirst make sure you're on the latest OpenTX firmware.
